🐾 Treats With Purpose
At the ACES BARKery, every bag we bake does more than make tails wag — it creates opportunities to learn, grow, build confidence, and practice real-world life and job skills.
And we are SO excited about what we're baking up next!
ACES BARKery is partnering with YALLS, the Young Adults Learning Life Skills program at Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, to bring the BARKery experience directly into their existing life-skills programming.
Through this partnership, young adults will have opportunities to take part in different phases of the BARKery process while practicing real-world skills in a fun, supportive environment.
The treats are pretty great.
But the opportunities baked into every batch are even better! 🐾
🍪 Bitty Bits – Small Treats, Big Impact
Tiny treats. Mighty mission. Our beloved Bitty Bits may be small, but their impact is huge:
BARKery activities create hands-on opportunities to practice:
-
Following recipes and directions
-
Measuring, counting, and sequencing
-
Baking and kitchen safety
-
Packaging and labeling
-
Organization and inventory
-
Teamwork and communication
-
Maintaining a workspace
-
Confidence and independence
At the BARKery, we measure success in skills and smiles, not treats per hour. Everyone can contribute in different ways based on their interests, abilities, and support needs. Talk about meaningful opportunities! 😊
And when you purchase Bitty Bits, you're not just treating your pup. All proceeds support YALLS programming and opportunities for the young adults it serves.
That's a pretty PAWsome bitty bit!
❤️ Why We’re Focused on One Product Right Now
Keeping things simple gives participants opportunities to become familiar with the process, practice skills repeatedly, and explore different parts of creating a product from beginning to end.
Bitty Bits also happen to be a fan favorite, so everybody wins. Especially the dogs!
As the BARKery grows, seasonal treats and other goodies may occasionally make their way back into the kitchen. We have plenty of ideas still waiting to be unleashed!
🐶 Perfect for All Pups
Small enough for a quick reward. Meaningful enough to make a BIG impact.
-

-

💙 Be Part of the Impact
Every bag of Bitty Bits helps create more opportunities through the YALLS program at Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett.
And the impact doesn't have to stop there.
We hope to periodically donate BARKery treats to animal-serving organizations in our community, giving our young adults another opportunity to see something they helped create bring a little joy beyond the BARKery.
We're also excited to showcase the ACES BARKery + YALLS partnership at The Georgia Race for Autism this October! Be sure to look for us there!
So grab a bag of our delicious treats for your favorite four-legged friend, follow along with our BARKery adventures, and help us keep creating meaningful opportunities.
Your pup gets the treats.
Our young adults get the opportunities.
Our community gets a little more PAWsitivity.
Now THAT’S something to howl about! 🐾❤️
